About
Tekla Evelina Severin, working under the name Teklan, is a Stockholm-based colourist and multidisciplinary designer whose practice moves between space, objects and image.

With a background in interior architecture, her work is rooted in colour and its ability to shape perception, atmosphere and experience. She develops distinctive visual worlds through spatial and exhibition design, product and CMF design, art direction, set design and photography — often bringing these disciplines together within one cohesive concept.

Her work explores the meeting point between two- and three-dimensional perception, using colour, geometry, materiality and composition to create depth, rhythm and unexpected spatial relationships. From the development of a single object or colour palette to complete interiors, installations and launch environments, each project is approached as a carefully considered whole.

Working through collaborations with international brands and manufacturers, Teklan creates expressive yet lasting concepts that give colour a structural role — not as decoration, but as an integral part of form, function and identity.
